*An image squisher*

Crushee is an image compression tool, powered by Electron and Node.js. It accepts JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WebP files, and will convert to JPEG, PNG, or WebP. It's useful for batch optimization and resizing images. You can carefully tune your images to meet your needs without having to re-upload or restart every time.

Crushee was primarily built with [Electron](https://electronjs.org/), [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/), [sharp](https://github.com/lovell/sharp/), and [imagemin](https://github.com/imagemin/imagemin).

## Download

**Download the lastest version from [crushee.app](https://crushee.app/) or the [Releases page](https://github.com/xanderfrangos/crushee/releases).**

## Build

- Download or clone.
- Run `npm install`.
- Run `npm run build` to build an executable or `npm start` to run a development build.

Note: For actual development, it's recommended to run `npm run parcel` and `npm run dev` seperately.
