OpenHands Agent Canvas는 코딩 에이전트를 항상 가동되는 self-hosted 엔지니어링 팀으로 전환해 줍니다. 이는 대화를 시작하고 일상적인 작업을 자동화하기 위한 개발자 제어 센터입니다. 예를 들어, Slack에 게시되는 보고서를 생성하거나 GitHub issue를 자동으로 여러 task로 분할하는 등의 작업을 수행할 수 있습니다.

기본적으로 로컬 머신에서 실행되지만, Docker 컨테이너, VM 또는 사내 인프라에서 에이전트를 실행하는 등 여러 "에이전트 백엔드"에 연결할 수 있습니다. 필요에 따라 OpenHands Cloud 또는 OpenHands Enterprise 인프라에서 에이전트를 실행하도록 선택할 수도 있습니다.

Agent Canvas는 오픈 소스인 OpenHands 에이전트를 기본(out-of-the-box)으로 실행하지만, Claude Code 및 Codex와 같은 타사 에이전트도 사용할 수 있습니다.

## Quickstart

노트북, Mac Mini와 같은 전용 컴퓨터, 또는 클라우드의 서버 등 모든 머신에 OpenHands를 설치하여 에이전트를 실행할 수 있습니다.

OpenHands를 실행하는 가장 강력한 방법은 클라우드 서버에서 실행하는 것입니다. 이를 통해 노트북이 닫혀 있는 동안에도 에이전트가 계속해서 작동할 수 있으며, Slack, GitHub, Datadog와 같은 서드파티 서비스를 통해 에이전트를 더 쉽게 트리거할 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 [SELF_HOSTING.md](docs/SELF_HOSTING.md)를 참조하십시오. 특히 보안 강화(security hardening) 관련 부분을 확인해 주세요.

특히 백엔드를 *여러 다른 환경*에서 실행하고 동일한 Agent Canvas 프론트엔드에서 각 환경을 전환할 수 있습니다. 예를 들어 코드 리뷰 및 의존성 업데이트를 수행하는 에이전트를 위해 팀과 Agent Server를 공유하면서, 노트북에서는 개인용 에이전트를 따로 실행할 수 있습니다.

### Option 1: Sandbox 없이 실행

> [!WARNING]
> 이 방법은 설치 중인 머신에서 직접 agent-server를 실행합니다. 에이전트가 파일 시스템에 대한 전체 액세스 권한을 가지게 됩니다!

**Prerequisites**: Node.js 22.12.x 이상, `uv`

npm install -g @openhands/agent-canvas
agent-canvas
```

기본적으로 `agent-canvas` 명령은 전체 로컬 스택을 시작합니다. 각 요소를 개별적으로 실행하려는 경우 다음과 같이 분할할 수 있습니다:

agent-canvas --frontend-only  # static frontend + ingress only
agent-canvas --backend-only   # agent server + automation backend + ingress only
```

### Option 2: Docker Sandbox 사용

**Prerequisites**:

- Docker: macOS/Windows의 Docker Desktop 또는 Linux의 Docker Engine/Docker Desktop.
- 에이전트가 액세스할 프로젝트 폴더들이 포함된 `PROJECTS_PATH`용 호스트 디렉토리. 컨테이너를 시작하기 전에 생성해야 합니다.

**macOS / Linux:**

# 아키텍처

Agent Canvas는 단일 머신에서 여러 에이전트를 실행하기 위한 REST API인 [OpenHands Agent Server](https://github.com/OpenHands/software-agent-sdk/tree/main/openhands-agent-server/openhands/agent_server)를 기반으로 작동합니다. 각 Agent Server는 단일 호스트/포트에서 실행되며, Agent Canvas는 여러 Agent Server에 연결하여 간편하게 전환할 수 있습니다.

Agent Server는 어디서나 실행할 수 있습니다:

- 노트북에서 직접 실행 (주의하세요!)
- Mac Mini와 같은 전용 머신에서 실행
- 클라우드의 가상 머신(VM)에서 실행
- OpenHands Cloud(상용 서비스) 내에서 실행

Agent Server는 대개 [Automation Server](https://github.com/OpenHands/automation)와 함께 구성되어, 정해진 일정이나 이벤트 발생에 맞춰 에이전트가 작동하도록 설정할 수 있습니다.
