## Getting Started

### Installation

   ```

2. Create a virtual environment:
   ```bash
   python -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate
   ```

3. Install dependencies:
   ```bash
   pip install -r requirements.txt
   ```

4. Set up environment variables:
   ```bash
   cp .env.example .env
   # Edit .env with your API keys and configuration
   ```

### Running the Application

1. Start the FastAPI server:
   ```bash
   uvicorn app.main:app --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8000 --reload
   ```

2. Expose your local server for Twilio webhooks (in development):
   ```bash
   ngrok http 8000
   ```

3. Configure your Twilio phone number to use the ngrok URL as the webhook for incoming calls:
   ```
   Voice Webhook URL: https://your-ngrok-url.ngrok.io/api/voice/incoming
   ```

## Deployment

For production deployment, consider using Docker:

```bash
docker build -t restaurant-voice-agent .
docker run -p 8000:8000 restaurant-voice-agent
```
