# Kevin Service Registry

Kevin Service Registry is a **free subdomain registration service** operated by Kevin Service. We provide community-accessible domains **at no cost**, allowing anyone to register and use subdomains under our managed public domains for personal projects, learning, open-source software, and non-commercial use.

Our mission is to offer **free domains for everyone** while keeping the service stable, secure, and sustainable in the long term.

## What We Offer

- **Nameserver (NS) management only**
  - delegate your subdomain to your own DNS provider
  - full DNS control via your own nameservers
- **Long-term availability**
  - parent domains are maintained and renewed by Kevin Service

  - open-source projects
  - learning, testing, and self-hosting

## Abuse Prevention & Fair Use

Because this is a **free service**, abuse prevention is critical to keeping it available for everyone.

We actively enforce the following:

- automated and manual reviews of registrations and usage
- monitoring of subdomains, including those appearing in certificate transparency logs
- detection of phishing, malware, spam, fraud, and other malicious activity
- strict **one-person-one-account** policy
- suspension of domains involved in abuse or policy violations

Domains involved in malicious activity **may be suspended without prior notice** to protect users and the platform.

## Pending Review & Verification

- Some registrations may enter a **pending review** state
- Users are asked to briefly explain the intended use of a domain
- Review times may be longer during high-volume periods

These checks help prevent automated abuse and ensure the **longevity of this free service**.

## Invite-Based Registration

At times, registrations may be limited through an invite system to control abuse and platform load.

- Invite codes may be distributed via community channels
- Eligibility-based invites may be granted

All domains remain **free of charge**, regardless of registration method.

Supported parent domains may change over time. Newly introduced domains will be announced through official channels.
