# Business Analyst Agent Skill

A production-ready Business Analyst skill for Codex and a reusable prompt pack
for Claude. It is designed to behave like a senior BA with 15+ years of
industry experience across requirements, process analysis, transformation,
compliance, testing, and decision support.

## What It Does

- Produces BA deliverables such as BRD, FRD, PRD, SRS, user stories, UAT test
  cases, RTM, gap analysis, stakeholder analysis, business cases, vendor
  evaluations, and process maps.
- Routes by domain and loads domain-specific guidance for SaaS, RPA, fintech,
  healthcare, e-commerce, ERP/CRM, cloud migration, data/BI, digital
  transformation, compliance, and agile delivery.
- Enforces senior BA behaviors: measurable requirements, clear assumptions,
  explicit risks, trade-off analysis, scope control, and recommendation quality.

## Repo Structure

## Use With Codex

Codex supports skill folders directly.

1. Copy `business-analyst-agent/` into your Codex skills directory.
2. Make sure the folder name remains `business-analyst-agent`.
3. Start Codex in a workspace where that skill is available.
4. Trigger it by asking for BA outputs directly or by naming the skill.

## Use With Claude

structured instruction pack.

### Recommended Setup

1. Create a Claude Project.
2. Paste the contents of `business-analyst-agent/SKILL.md` into the project
   instructions or system prompt.
3. Attach only the relevant reference file(s) from `business-analyst-agent/references/`
   for the domain you are working in.
4. Give Claude your business context and ask for a specific deliverable.

## Notes

- `SKILL.md` is the core instruction file.
- The `references/` files add domain depth and should be loaded selectively.
