## 🔧 Hardware Setup

## ⚙️ Installation

### ESP32 Development Setup
1. Install Visual Studio Code
2. Install PlatformIO Extension
3. Clone repository:
   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/nick28s/IoTProject-ZonePresenceDetection-LD2450.git
   ```
4. Configure WiFi credentials:
   ```cpp
   // WiFiCredentials.h
   #define WIFI_SSID "your_ssid"
   #define WIFI_PASSWORD "your_password"
   ```
5. Upload firmware via PlatformIO

### Web Application Setup

Use Docker and
install from the command line:

```bash
docker run -p 3000:3000 --name zoneapp ghcr.io/nick28s/iotproject-zonepresencedetection-ld2450:latest 
```

or

Install manually:

1. Install Node.js (v16+)
2. Navigate to web app directory:
   ```bash
   cd ReactJSApp/zonepresencedetectionapp
   ```
3. Install dependencies:
   ```bash
   npm install
   ``` 
4. Start development server:
   ```bash
   npm run dev
   ```

## 🎯 Usage Guide

### Initial Setup
1. Power up ESP32
2. Note the ESP32's IP address from Serial Monitor output
3. Open web interface at http://localhost:3000
4. Configure the IP address in the web application

### Zone Configuration
1. Enable "Edit Mode"
2. Click "New Zone" to create zone
3. Drag to position
4. Use handles to resize
5. Save configuration by switching "Edit Mode"

### Real-time Monitoring
- View live target positions
- Monitor zone occupancy
- Check connection status
- View target trajectories
