Usage
-----

hub는 [GitHub API와 직접 상호작용하는](https://hub.github.com/#scripting) 쉘 스크립트를 만드는 데에도 사용할 수 있습니다.

hub는 `git`으로 안전하게 [별칭(alias) 설정](#aliasing)이 가능하므로, 쉘에서 `$ git <command>`를 입력하면 `hub` 기능이 적용되어 실행됩니다.

Installation
------------

`hub` 실행 파일은 별도의 의존성이 없지만, `git`을 래핑하도록 설계되었으므로 최소 **git 1.7.3** 이상의 버전을 사용하는 것을 권장합니다.

#### Standalone

`hub`는 실행 파일 형태로 쉽게 설치할 수 있습니다. 시스템에 맞는 [최신 바이너리][latest]를 다운로드하여 실행 경로(executable path)의 아무 곳에나 두십시오.

#### GitHub Actions

hub는 [GitHub Actions][] 워크플로우에서 바로 사용할 수 있습니다:

기본 `secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN`은 이 워크플로우를 실행하는 저장소 범위 내의 API 작업에만 작동한다는 점에 유의하세요. 다른 저장소와 상호작용해야 하는 경우, 최소 `repo` 범위가 설정된 [개인 액세스 토큰(Personal Access Token)][pat]을 생성하여 [저장소 비밀(repository secrets)][]에 추가하세요.

Aliasing
--------

일부 hub 기능은 `git`으로 별칭을 설정했을 때 가장 편리합니다. 이는 위험하지 않으며, _기존의 일반적인 git 명령어는 모두 그대로 작동합니다_. hub는 단지 편리한 기능(syntactic sugar)을 추가할 뿐입니다.

`hub alias`는 현재 쉘에 맞는 안내 사항을 표시합니다. `-s` 플래그를 사용하면 `eval`에 적합한 스크립트를 출력합니다.

이 명령어를 `.bash_profile`이나 다른 시작 스크립트에 추가하세요:

``` sh
eval "$(hub alias -s)"
```

#### PowerShell

PowerShell을 사용하는 경우, PowerShell 프로필(보통 `~/Documents/WindowsPowerShell/Microsoft.PowerShell_profile.ps1`)에 다음 내용을 추가하여 `hub`에 대한 별칭을 설정할 수 있습니다:

hub 저장소에는 bash, zsh, fish를 위한 [탭 완성 스크립트](./etc)가 포함되어 있습니다. 이 스크립트들은 git과 함께 제공되는 기존 완성 스크립트를 보완합니다.
