# Installation Guide
1. Get the code
git clone https://github.com/EmbarkStudios/cargo-fetcher
Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.
cd cargo-fetcher
Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.
2. Rust
Medium RecommendedPrerequisites
- Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
- Rust (rustup) Installing via rustup also installs cargo.
Path to the lockfile used for determining what crates to operate on [default: Cargo.lock]
Type this command into your terminal and run it.
CARGO_FETCHER_EMBARK_DL="https://secret/rust/cargo/{crate}-{version}.crate" cargo fetcher mirror
Type this command into your terminal and run it.
If cargo build finishes without errors, it worked. The executable is created under target/.
