# Custom Sounds (Vencord)

A Vencord plugin that lets you replace any native Discord sound with custom audio or seasonal variants. Supports custom audio uploads, per-sound volume control, live preview, seasonal sound presets, and settings import/export.

## Installation

> Requires the Vencord [developer build](https://docs.vencord.dev/installing/).

### Option 1: Clone

Follow the [official Vencord custom plugins guide](https://docs.vencord.dev/installing/custom-plugins/).

### Option 2: Manual Download

> [!IMPORTANT]
> Inside the `Vencord` folder should be a folder called `src`. If you haven't already, create a folder called `userplugins` inside the `src` folder.

1. Click the green `<> Code` button at the top right of the repository and select `Download ZIP`.
2. Unzip the downloaded file into the `userplugins` folder.
3. Ensure it's structured as `src/userplugins/customSounds` or `src/userplugins/customSounds-main`.
4. Run `pnpm build` in your terminal and the plugin should be added.
