# SUGGESTR

Suggestr is a convenient, web-based course suggester centered around feature richness and usability.

# Contributing
We welcome any contributions. Feel free to open new issues for any concerns or pull requests for any added features.
## Setting up a local version
1. Our development team currently uses MAMP to host the local server and SQL database it relies on. Download and install [MAMP](https://www.mamp.info/en/) and set your web server document root to point at the suggestr root folder.
2. Use the mlbackup.sql file to create all the database records 
3. Then run the MAMP server and open [http://localhost:8888/](http://localhost:8888/) in your web browser.
