# Telemedicine App

An offline-first telemedicine and first aid assistance application designed for rural and underserved areas with limited internet connectivity. This cross-platform mobile application provides essential medical information, first aid guidance, and initial treatment recommendations to help bridge healthcare gaps in remote regions.

## Vision

Our mission is to democratize access to basic healthcare information and first aid guidance in areas where professional medical help may not be immediately available. This app serves as a digital health companion, empowering individuals with critical knowledge to handle common medical emergencies and health concerns until professional medical assistance can be accessed.

## Getting Started

### Prerequisites

- Flutter SDK (version 3.0 or higher)
- Dart SDK (comes with Flutter)
- Git
- Platform-specific requirements:
  - **Android**: Android Studio or Command-line tools
  - **iOS**: Xcode (macOS only)
  - **Windows**: Visual Studio 2022 or Build Tools
  - **macOS**: Xcode
  - **Linux**: Build essentials

### Installation

1. **Clone the repository**
   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/samarth-sachin/Telemedicine_App.git
   cd Telemedicine_App
   ```

2. **Install dependencies**
   ```bash
   flutter pub get
   ```

3. **Run the app**
   - **Android/iOS**:
     ```bash
     flutter run
     ```
   - **Specific platform**:
     ```bash
     flutter run -d <device_name>
     ```

### Development

- **Analyze code**: `flutter analyze`
- **Run tests**: `flutter test`
- **Format code**: `dart format .`
- **Build APK**: `flutter build apk --release`
- **Build iOS**: `flutter build ios --release`
