# NFC-King

> [!CAUTION]
>NFC-King is often flagged as trojan/malware.
> 
>It appeared that the "official" Chinese installer included dropper components and other files that should not have been present.
> 
>I attempted to extract only the required, legitimate files from the installer and removed anything unnecessary or potentially malicious.

### How To Use:

0. Install the **[CH341SER](https://www.wch-ic.com/downloads/CH341SER_ZIP.html)** driver.
1. Download **[NFC-King-1.6.8.0-Portable.zip](https://github.com/skylandersNFC/NFC-King/releases/)**, extract it and run it.
2. Conect your **[PN532 V2.0](https://skylandersnfc.github.io/Docs/Skylanders_Buying_List/Skylanders_NFC_Devices/PN532/)** and put a **[Chinese Magic Card](https://skylandersnfc.github.io/Docs/Know_Your_Magic_Cards/)** on it.
3. Start the "**NFC-King.exe**" and you should see "**Found Nfc Device**"
4. Click **[ReadIC]** and you should see a popup message starting with "**The unlocking is complete...**"
5. Click on the **[Import Data]** on the upper **MIDDLE/CENTER**.
   - **DON'T** use the **[Import Data]** on the **right**.
7. Select your Skylander dump from the **[Ultimate NFC Pack](https://skylandersnfc.github.io/Skylanders-Ultimate-NFC-Pack/)**.
8. Now you should see **Grid A** with some data from your dump file (mainly zeroes and some numbers and letters)
9. Click **[WriteIC]** and **Grid B** should be populated with the sama data.
10. When finished you should see "**Complete card writing**". That's it.
