# localizeMe
A location based chat and event app built with firebase and [Framework7](http://framework7.io).  
It was built for android/ios and the web.

A working demo version can be accessed on browser from here: https://localizeme.firebaseapp.com/ . To test the demo, you have to create an account. Login, click on your location and see posts made by people close to you. You can adjust radius and connect to more people in  private chat.

## Technologies used
* Firebase - Hosted backend as a service now owned by Google
* Geofire - Geolocation library for firebase
* Framework7 - A Css Javascript framework for build mobile and web applications
* Typescript

## How to use
* access the demo online from https://localizeme.firebaseapp.com/
* convert it to an android or iOS app with the commands `cordova build android` and `cordova build ios` respectively
* Download the app and run it from your system with a server eg. cordova serve, wampserver etc

* You can also convert it to an android app using cordova command line build or upload it to your free account on [Phonegap Build](http://build.phonegap.com) and have it converted to and android/iOS app for you in seconds.
