# Akhyou! **An anime streaming app for Android.** Akhyou! is a material design android app in beta that scrapes streaming sites to provide users with an ad-free *intuitive* method of streaming and downloading the anime of their choice to the media player of their choice. Currently it scrapes two anime streaming sites but is built to be expandable. Upcoming features include *scrobbling* to [MyAnimeList](http://myanimelist.net/) / [Hummingbird.me](https://hummingbird.me/), enhanced browsing (new releases, genres, etc.) and a *proper* anime details screen. There are no plans to release Akhyou! on the Play store in the future. ## Development The app is still in beta - though I (and some testers) have been using it for months. I welcome help with development, but, please, email me before you work on anything new. Awesome libraries this app uses: 1. [OkHttp](http://square.github.io/okhttp/) 2. [Picasso](http://square.github.io/picasso/) 3. [Nucleus](https://github.com/konmik/nucleus) 4. [EventBus](https://github.com/greenrobot/EventBus) 5.
