# WhatChat

A WhatsApp web simple clone using Elixir/Phoenix, VueJs and PostgreSQL.

## Requirements

-  Inotify-tools (see the following [`guide`](https://github.com/inotify-tools/inotify-tools/wiki) )
   -  Erlang 24.0
   -  Elixir 1.11.4
   -  Nodejs 14.16.1

## Installation

To start your Phoenix server:

- Install dependencies with `mix deps.get`
- Create and migrate your database with `mix ecto.setup`
- Install Node.js dependencies with `cd assets && npm install`
- Start Phoenix endpoint with `mix phx.server`

## Features

- User authentication
- User registration
- 'Friends'/Groups Chat messages
- Profile settings

Now you can visit [`localhost:4000`](http://localhost:4000) from your browser.
