# iOS Deepgram Streaming App

A native iOS application that captures microphone audio and streams it to Deepgram in real-time using WebSocket.  
Designed for enterprise use with minimal UI, continuous background audio, and optional integration with a FastAPI backend.

## 🚀 Features

### 🎙 Real-Time Audio Streaming
- Captures microphone audio using `AVAudioEngine`.
- Sends 16kHz PCM (`pcm_s16le`) audio stream to Deepgram WebSocket API.
- Supports continuous STT (speech-to-text) in real-time.

### 🔊 Background Audio Mode (Enterprise)
- Allows continuous microphone input while the app is running in the background.
- Suitable for company-managed devices (MDM / enterprise distribution).

### 🌐 Backend Integration (Optional)
- Sends recognized text or raw audio data to a FastAPI server.
- Supports async/await HTTP or WebSocket communication.

### 🗺 Triggering Logic (Future Feature)
- Auto-activate microphone when Google Maps is launched.
- Internal-use logic only (not allowed on App Store).
