# ChatGPT Example

## Overview

This repository is an example project demonstrating the integration of ChatGPT using a React frontend and Express backend.

## Installation

### Prerequisites

- Node.js
- npm or yarn

### Steps

1. Clone the repository:
   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/bcExpt1123/chatgpt-example.git
   cd chatgpt-example

2. Install dependencies for both frontend and backend:
  ```bash
  cd backend
  npm install
  cd ../frontend
  npm install
  ```

## Development

### Running the Backend

Navigate to the backend directory and start the development server:
  ```bash
  cd backend
  npm run dev
  # or
  yarn dev
  ```

### Running the Frontend

Navigate to the frontend directory and start the development server:
  ```bash
  cd frontend
  npm start
  # or
  yarn start
  ```

## Production

### Building and Running the Backend

```bash
cd backend
npm run start
```

### Building and Running the Frontend

```bash
cd frontend
npm run build
```
