# UE4_CustomAssetTutorial
You can view the tutorial here.
## Getting Started
This is assuming you have a UNIX-based command line. If on Windows, just use Git Bash
### 1. Open a Terminal 
### 2. Navigate to your "Unreal Projects" folder.
```
$ cd Documents/Unreal\ Projects
```
### 3. Clone the repository
```
$ git clone https://github.com/BGR360/UE4_CustomAssetTutorial.git
```
### 4. Generate Project Files (Optional)
You only need to do this step if you want to edit and build the code yourself.
#### Windows
1. Open File Explorer and navigate to "Documents\Unreal Projects\UE4_CustomAssetTutorial"
2. Right click on the .uproject file and select "Generate Visual Studio Project"

#### OS X
1. Open Finder and navigate to "Documents/Unreal Projects/UE4_CustomAssetTutorial"
2. Secondary-click on the .uproject file, and go to Services > Generate XCode Project

### 5. Open the Editor and have fun
If you already have the project open in an IDE, go ahead and build the DebugEditor configuration and run that.
Otherwise, just double-click the .uproject file.
