An operating system running inside your browser, built with Svelte. All operations include file storage happens on your browser, nothing ever leaves it. 
 FernOS is available on Github under the <a href="LICENSE.md" target="_blank">MIT license</a>.

## Contribution
You can contribute to FernOS with PRs, testing of PRs and issues. Contributing code and other implementations is greatly appreciated alongside simply filing issues for problems you encounter. Please read the entire document before continuing as it can potentially save everyone involved a significant amount of time.

Upon addition of any application, software library to this project, please ensure that the licensing of the same is permissive in nature. Additionally if you want to contribute a major change to this project, do give us a head's up before hand.

## Development
- Use git clone to clone the repo. Use the command:  `git clone https://github.com/mrtechtroid/fernos.git`
- Ensure you have NodeJS installed. Then use the command `npm init` to download all the required npm packages needed for this project. 
- To run the application on localhost, use `npx preview`.
