# P2P Chatting App

## Overview

The P2P Chatting App is a real-time chat application allowing users to join chat rooms and communicate with each other. Built using Socket.io and Express.js, this app demonstrates real-time communication and room management functionalities.

## Installation

1. **Clone the Repository**

```bash
   git clone https://github.com/softenrj/P2P-chatting-app.git

2. **Navigate to the Project Directory**

```bash
   cd P2P-chatting-app

3. **Install Dependencies**
   Make sure you have Node.js installed. Then run:

```bash
   npm install

4. **Run the Server**

```bash
    nodemon index.js

5. **Open the App**
   Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to use the chat application.

## Usage

1. **Join a Room:**
    - Enter your username and room name in the fields provided and click "OK" to join a room.

2. **Send Messages:**

- Type your message in the input box and press "Send" or hit Enter.

3. **See User Activity:**

- The chat area will display user.        activity, including who is typing.
