# Merge duplicates (Sketch plugin)

Sketch plugin to get rid of duplicate and inconsistent symbols, styles, and color variables in a breeze. Choose the one you want to keep and press OK. The others will be removed, and all of their instances will be replaced by the one you chose to keep.

## Merge Duplicate Symbols

Merge Duplicates will find automatically duplicate symbols and ask you what to do with them. Choose the one you want to keep and hit Merge.

The other symbols will be removed, and all of their instances will be replaced by the one you chose to keep, keeping overrides whenever it is possible.

## Merge Layer Styles

Find duplicate layer styles and decide which one is the good one. Merge Duplicates will remove the discarded ones and assign the good style to all instances and overrides.

Find also similar styles and blend them together. Choose which attributes should be used to compare styles, and if you have a match… merge it!

## Merge Text Styles

Find duplicate text styles and decide which one is the good one. Merge Duplicates will remove the discarded ones and assign the good style to all instances and overrides.

## Merge Color Variables

Identify duplicate or similar color variables, and decide which of them is the good one. Merge duplicates will remove the discarded ones and assign the good one to all instances, tints, styles and overrides.
