## About The Project

This project is a simple tool to convert video files to animated gifs.
It is different from other similar projects because all the CPU intensive
video editing work is done on the client-side using [wasm](https://webassembly.org/); there is no
server involved.

## Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

### Installation

1. Clone the repo
   ```sh
   git clone https://github.com/iamtalwinder/gif-maker.git
2. Install NPM packages
   ```sh
   cd gif-maker
   ```
3. Install NPM packages
   ```sh
   npm install
   ```
4. Run the development server
   ```sh
   npm run dev
   ```
