# libSBOL 2.3.2 [](https://travis-ci.org/SynBioDex/libSBOL) [libSBOL](https://github.com/SynBioDex/libSBOL) is a C++ library for reading, writing, and constructing genetic designs according to the standardized specifications of the [Synthetic Biology Open Language (SBOL)](http://www.sbolstandard.org/). ## Installation To install libSBOL, go to [Installation](http://synbiodex.github.io/libSBOL/installation.html) page. ## Documentation [An API reference and Getting Started tutorial can be found here](http://synbiodex.github.io/libSBOL/#doxygen). ## Open-source Development We strongly encourage contributions from third-party, open-source developers.
