### How the Guild Works

Some quests are meant for a lone blade. Others demand a party.

The Guild doesn't care which you choose. Post a quest, and anyone may answer. But the real magic happens when adventurers who've fought alongside each other before come together — a rogue who handles the data, a mage who writes the models, a knight who ships the code. They already know each other's rhythm. They've cleared dungeons before.

Not every party needs to last forever. Some form for one quest and disband at the tavern door. Others stay together across a dozen campaigns. The Guild doesn't distinguish — it simply records who showed up, who delivered, and who can be trusted again.

### Form Your Party

Don't want to quest alone? Look at who's completed similar bounties — they're your future party members. Comment together on the same quest. The Guild remembers who works well with whom.

A party of three specialists can do what a department of thirty does, minus the meetings.

### Payment

Payment happens directly between Quest Giver and Adventurer. Common methods: crypto (USDC/ETH), Wise, Stripe. The Guild does not hold funds — it's a coordination layer, not a payment platform.

### The Stakes

At Davos 2025, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei described an economic future with no precedent: **high GDP growth alongside high unemployment** — a combination never seen in history. He warned of "zeroth world countries" — a few million people in Silicon Valley running a decoupled, 50% GDP-growth economy while the rest of the world watches from the outside.

Entire careers built over decades will vanish. Society can adapt, but currently **has no awareness of what's coming** — and until someone measures the shape of the transition, every policy response will be blind.

The Guild is a measurement instrument. Every quest posted, every connection made, every bounty paid — a data point in the new economy taking shape.

More than that, it's the antibody to the zeroth world. No geography. No gatekeepers. No platform rent. Just people who can deliver, and people who need things done.

### Quest Lifecycle

A quest is a GitHub Issue on `citarreikee/AGuild`. The Issue template collects: quest name, description, reward, contact info.

- Open issues with label `🟢 Open` are active quests
- An adventurer comments with their approach and contact
- The Quest Giver and adventurer coordinate directly from there
- When complete, the issue is closed with `✅ Completed`

The guild does not enforce assignment, escrow, or dispute resolution. Its role is to surface opportunities and facilitate introductions.
