# Multivariate, Spatial Modeling

Short course on multivariate, spatial modeling formatted with lectures, and hands-on demos for 1-day or 2 day formats.

#### Course Objectives:

You will gain:
* knowledge concerning multivariate, spatial modeling.

#### Course Agenda
* Introduction: objectives, plan
* Probability – Frequentist and Bayesian concepts
* Multivariate Analysis – correlation, marginal, conditional and joint
* Spatial Continuity – stationarity, variogram calculatio
* Spatial Estimation – trend modeling, kriging estimation and uncertainty                   
* Statistical Learning – training and testing, model bias and variance                            
* Feature Selection – curse of dimensionality, over fit and ranking                                       
* Multivariate Spatial Workflows – cosimulation and updating methods                  
* Conclusion – summary, lessons learned, discussion
