ToastySnackbar brings the missing Android-like toast/snackbar experience to iOS.
It is a lightweight, pure Swift UIKit component designed for one-line usage,
stackable presentation, and straightforward customization without external
dependencies.

## Features

ToastySnackbar is UIKit-only.

## Installation

### Swift Package Manager

In Xcode, select **File > Add Package Dependencies...** and add:

Or add it to your `Package.swift`:

Then add the product to your target:

### CocoaPods

Add ToastySnackbar to your `Podfile`:

pod 'ToastySnackbar', '~> 0.1'
```

Then run:

pod install

Import the module where you want to show snackbars:

```swift
import ToastySnackbar
```

## Usage

```swift
import ToastySnackbar

ToastySnackbar.success(on: self, "Success!", duration: .short, showsIcon: true).show()
ToastySnackbar.error(on: view, "Something went wrong").show()
```

`on:` accepts either a `UIViewController` or a `UIView`.

```swift
ToastySnackbar.success(on: self, "Saved").show()
ToastySnackbar.error(on: self, "Upload failed", duration: .long).show()
ToastySnackbar.warning(on: self, "Check your connection").show()
ToastySnackbar.info(on: self, "Sync started").show()
ToastySnackbar.normal(on: self, "Copied").show()
```

Show a snackbar from a specific view:

ToastySnackbar.success(on: tableView, "Item added").show()
```

Change the position for one snackbar:

```swift
ToastySnackbar.info(on: self, "New message")
    .withPosition(.top)
    .show()
```

Dismiss manually:

## Demo App

Open `ToastySnackbarDemo.xcodeproj` and run the `ToastySnackbarDemo` scheme.
The demo app imports the package product and shows preset, position, and custom
style examples.

## Privacy

ToastySnackbar does not collect, store, track, or transmit user data.

The package includes `PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy` so apps distributing through the
App Store can include the library without adding extra privacy disclosures for
ToastySnackbar itself.

## Security

ToastySnackbar is distributed as source through Swift Package Manager and
CocoaPods. It does not ship prebuilt binary frameworks.

If you believe you have found a security issue, please open a private report or
contact the maintainer instead of posting sensitive details publicly.

## Development

This repository is package-first:

- `Package.swift` defines the Swift Package product.
- `ToastySnackbar.podspec` defines CocoaPods distribution.
- `Sources/ToastySnackbar` contains the library source.
- `Tests/ToastySnackbarTests` contains the XCTest coverage.
- `ToastySnackbarDemo.xcodeproj` contains the UIKit demo app and hosted test target.

Validate the package build:

```sh
xcodebuild -scheme ToastySnackbar -destination generic/platform=iOS CODE_SIGNING_ALLOWED=NO build
```

Run the hosted iOS tests:

```sh
xcodebuild test -project ToastySnackbarDemo.xcodeproj -scheme ToastySnackbarDemo -destination 'platform=iOS Simulator,name=iPhone 16,OS=18.6' CODE_SIGNING_ALLOWED=NO
```

Validate CocoaPods metadata:

```

`swift test` is not the main validation path because this package is UIKit-only
and SwiftPM runs tests for macOS by default.

Issues and pull requests are welcome. For behavior changes, please include tests
or update the demo app so the change is easy to verify.
