# Codex Responses 本地代理

这是一个给 Codex App 使用的本地转发代理。

它主要解决下面这种场景导致的 403 问题：

1. Codex App 使用 OpenAI 账号登录。
2. `config.toml` 里配置了第三方中转站或自定义 API provider。
3. 保留 `requires_openai_auth = true`，让 Codex App 继续使用远程控制、插件、Goal、协作模式等登录态能力。
4. 发送普通文字消息时直接失败：

```text
unexpected status 403 Forbidden: Image generation is not enabled for this group
```

这个错误不一定是因为用户要求生图。Codex 的 `/responses` 请求体里可能带有 image generation 相关能力声明；部分中转站会在模型真正开始回复前先做 group 权限校验，如果当前 key 或 group 没有开启生图权限，就会直接拒绝整个请求。

本项目的作用是放在 Codex App 和中转站之间：Codex App 请求本地代理，本地代理再转发到上游中转站，并在转发 `POST /responses` 的 JSON 请求体前移除 image generation 相关工具声明。

## 可能触发 403 的 Codex 配置

下面这种配置可以让 Codex App 保持 OpenAI 登录态，同时把模型请求转到自定义 provider：

```toml
model_provider = "customapi"

[model_providers.customapi]
name = "customapi"
base_url = "https://api.example.com/v1"
experimental_bearer_token = "sk-your-relay-key"
requires_openai_auth = true
wire_api = "responses"

[features]
collaboration_modes = true
remote_connections = true
remote_control = true
goals = true
image_generation = false
```

即使已经设置了 `image_generation = false`，某些 Codex 版本或 provider 组合仍可能发出会触发上游生图权限检查的 `/responses` 请求。

## 使用本地代理修复

不要让 Codex App 直接请求中转站，而是改为请求本地代理：

```toml
model_provider = "customapi"

[model_providers.customapi]
name = "customapi"
base_url = "http://127.0.0.1:8787"
experimental_bearer_token = "sk-your-relay-key"
requires_openai_auth = true
wire_api = "responses"

[features]
collaboration_modes = true

image_generation = false
```

然后在项目根目录的 `.env` 文件里用 `UPSTREAM_BASE_URL` 配置本地代理真正要转发到的中转站地址。

## 启动

在项目根目录创建 `.env` 文件，可以从 `.env.example` 复制：

```powershell
Copy-Item .env.example .env
```

然后按需修改 `.env`：

```env
LISTEN_HOST=127.0.0.1
LISTEN_PORT=8787
UPSTREAM_BASE_URL=https://example.com
```

配置说明：

| 配置项                 | 必填  | 说明                                    |
| ------------------- | --- | ------------------------------------- |
| `LISTEN_HOST`       | 是   | 本地代理监听地址，通常使用 `127.0.0.1`             |
| `LISTEN_PORT`       | 是   | 本地代理监听端口，Codex 配置里的 `base_url` 需要和它一致 |
| `UPSTREAM_BASE_URL` | 是   | 真实上游中转站地址                             |
| `PORT`              | 否   | 可覆盖 `LISTEN_PORT`，适合部分部署平台使用          |

### 方式一：双击启动（Windows 推荐）

项目根目录已经提供 `start-proxy.cmd`，双击即可启动本地代理。

脚本会自动切换到它所在的项目目录并执行 `npm start`，不依赖固定的本机路径，所以项目放在任意目录都可以使用。启动窗口会保留日志输出。需要关闭代理时，关闭该窗口，或在窗口中按 `Ctrl+C`。

### 方式二：命令行启动

也可以在项目根目录手动启动服务：

```powershell
npm start
```

启动成功后会打印当前读取到的配置，方便确认 `.env` 是否生效：

```text
env config: {
  LISTEN_HOST: '127.0.0.1',
  LISTEN_PORT: 8787,
  UPSTREAM_BASE_URL: 'https://example.com/'
}
codex local proxy listening on http://127.0.0.1:8787
forwarding to https://example.com
```

如果 `.env` 缺失、配置项缺失或配置格式错误，启动时会输出配置引导，例如：

```text
Missing .env file: d:\code\codex-proxy\.env

Env configuration guide:
1. Create a .env file in the project root: d:\code\codex-proxy\.env
2. Add the required variables:

LISTEN_HOST=127.0.0.1
LISTEN_PORT=8787
UPSTREAM_BASE_URL=https://example.com

3. Start the project with: npm start
```

## 当前机器的配置示例

把 `C:\Users\Lenovo\.codex\config.toml` 里的直接中转地址：

```toml
[model_providers.ikuncode]
base_url = "https://example.com"
wire_api = "responses"
```

改成本地代理：

```toml
[model_providers.ikuncode]
base_url = "http://127.0.0.1:8787"
wire_api = "responses"
```

其它 token、auth 配置保持不变。修改后重启 Codex App。

## 会移除什么

代理会移除 `type` 为下面这些值的对象：

```text
image_generation
image_generation_call
image_generation_preview
```

也会移除 `name` 中包含 `image_generation` 的对象。

除此之外，其它请求数据会尽量保持原样转发。
