# Learn Eleventy

This course was originally authored by [Andy Bell](https://github.com/Andy-set-studio) and hosted at [learneleventyfromscratch.com](https://learneleventyfromscratch.com/).
This fork is now maintained by [uncenter](https://github.com/uncenter/).

Changes made to content that affect the project result are matched by updating the completed lesson tracker commits at [uncenter/learn-eleventy-completed](https://github.com/uncenter/learn-eleventy-completed).

## Development

1. Clone the repository:

```
   git clone https://github.com/uncenter/learn-eleventy.git
   ```
3. Navigate to the `.app` folder, and install dependencies with `pnpm`:

```bash
   cd .app
   pnpm install
   ```
5. In the .app folder, run the following command to start the development server:

```
   pnpm start
   ```

### Screenshots

Many of the pre-existing screenshots were historically taken using Cleanshot X, with the window wallpaper background enabled, of an unknown browser.

The procedure for *new or replacement screenshots*, going forward, is to also use Cleanshot X — with the window wallpaper enabled, set to plain white, and with level two padding (the option between min and default) — for screenshots in window mode of the [Confectionary](https://confectioneryapp.com/) special-purpose browser — in (system) dark mode with the traffic lights and address bar enabled.
