# Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/lstoeferle/vite-vue2-starter

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd vite-vue2-starter

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Node.js

Easy Recommended

Prerequisites

Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
Node.js Node.js must be installed to use npm. The LTS version is recommended.

pnpm install

Downloads and installs the libraries listed in package.json.

pnpm dev

Starts the development/run server.

pnpm build

Type this command into your terminal and run it.

✅ After running the command, open the address shown in the terminal (usually something like http://localhost:3000) in your browser.

## Usage

### Development

Just run and visit [http://localhost:3333](http://localhost:3333)

```bash
pnpm dev
```

### Build

To build the App, run

```bash
pnpm build
```

And you will see the generated files in `dist`, which are ready to be served.

Vue 3 is awesome, but we should not forget about supporting Vue 2 ♥️
