# Zulu Assault
I'm working on recreating this old awesome game by Dallas Nutsch that I used to play a lot back in the days.
The game was originally published in July 1998 for Windows 95/98/NT platforms supporting DirectX 5.0, which is really outdated. I am using Java with the libraries "LWJGL" and "Slick2D" to develop this game for newer operating systems like Windows 10, Mac or Linux.

## Console commands

You can open up the console in the game menu by pressing <kbd>F1</kbd>

|*open level x* |open and play a single level x (where x can be a level number (1-24) but can also be the name of a custom map|
|*show time* |display the time needed for the play through (speedrunner support =D)|
|*show fps* |display frames per second (bottom right corner)|
|*keyboard layout x* |switch between keyboard layouts (1 = English, 2 = German)|
