🚀 Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/ljagiello/ctf-skills

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd ctf-skills

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Python

Easy Recommended

Prerequisites

Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
Python 3 On Windows, be sure to check 'Add Python to PATH' during installation.

pip install .

Installs the package published on PyPI directly — no need to clone the source.

python <실행할 파일명>.py # README에서 정확한 실행 파일명을 확인하세요

Runs the Python script (or module).

✅ If it runs without errors and prints output in the terminal, it worked.

## Environment Setup

Two setup strategies depending on your workflow:

### Pre-install (recommended before competitions)

Use the central installer entrypoint:

Run a narrower mode when you only want one tool group:

Preview what would be installed (skips already-present packages):

Verify what's already installed:

```bash
bash scripts/install_ctf_tools.sh --verify
```

Use `--force` to reinstall everything regardless of what's already present. Install logs are saved to `~/.ctf-tools/`.

### On-demand (during challenges)

Each skill's `SKILL.md` has a **Prerequisites** section listing only the tools needed for that category. Install as you go when the agent encounters a missing tool.
