Component source is edited in `apps/demo-maplibre` and `apps/demo-mapbox` (or
`packages/shared` for renderer-independent pieces) and synchronized into the
CLI's registry — see `packages/registry` once the sync tooling lands.

## Development

`pnpm lint` / `pnpm typecheck` / `pnpm test` run across every workspace
package. `pnpm registry:sync` materializes `packages/shared` into both demo
apps and regenerates the registry under `apps/docs/public/r`;
`pnpm registry:check` fails if either is stale.

## Component layout

Components live at `components/ui/mapcn/` — in `packages/shared`, in both demo
apps, and in a consumer's project — so relative imports resolve identically
everywhere. A generated `index.ts` re-exports the installed set, making
`@/components/ui/mapcn` the single import path.

## Basemap options

One `Map` component, configured by a renderer + basemap-provider choice at
`init` time:

- **MapLibre + CARTO** (default) — no API key
- **MapLibre + MapTiler** — `EXPO_PUBLIC_MAPTILER_API_KEY`
- **MapLibre + custom** — your own style URL or style object
- **Mapbox** — `EXPO_PUBLIC_MAPBOX_TOKEN` + `MAPBOX_DOWNLOADS_TOKEN`

Switch later with `mapcn-rn provider <target>`.
