# Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/11ta/11ta-template

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd 11ta-template

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Node.js

Easy Recommended

Prerequisites

Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
Node.js Node.js must be installed to use npm. The LTS version is recommended.

npm install

Downloads and installs the libraries listed in package.json.

npm start

Starts the development/run server.

✅ After running the command, open the address shown in the terminal (usually something like http://localhost:3000) in your browser.

# 11TA - 11ty, TailwindCSS, & Alpine.js Template

> **Update v2.1, 221018 - It's working again!**
> Greatly simplified. Updated all pkgs and removed those no longer necessary. All original functionality remains.
> I'll be using this template for several personal sites and so will try to keep it updated with any changes and added functionality I create for those sites.

I set out to build a starter project template for 11ty that has TailwindCSS and Alpine.js baked in.

Version 1.0.0 morphed into a deeply customizable, full featured, text-based CMS for managing small websites with easy-to-manage configuration files in the `/src/_data/` directory.
