# Action Scheduler - Disable Default Queue Runner

Disable [Action Scheduler's](https://actionscheduler.org) default queue runner, by removing it from the `'action_scheduler_run_queue'` hook. Handy for temporarily disabling scheduled events, like on a dev or test site, or on live sites when running Action Scheduler via [WP CLI](https://actionscheduler.org/wp-cli/).

## Installation

To install:

1. Download the latest version of the plugin [here](https://github.com/Prospress/action-scheduler-disable-default-runner/archive/master.zip)
1. Go to **Plugins > Add New > Upload** administration screen on your WordPress site
1. Select the ZIP file you just downloaded
1. Click **Install Now**
1. Click **Activate**
