# COLMAP_GroundControlPoints
Python scripts to triangulate ground control points (GCPs) in COLMAP and check their 3D position agiainst a ground truth with an Helmert transformation.

### Create a conda environment named colmap_tri
In Windows open Anaconda prompt as administrator

```
>conda create --name colmap_tri
>conda activate colmap_tri
>pip install opencv-contrib-python
>conda install matplotlib
```

### Usage
For inputs and options:
```
>conda activate colmap_tri
>python main.py --help
```
Run for example:
```
python main.py -i ".\COLMAP_GroundControlPoints\sample_test\imgs" -e ".jpg" -p ".\COLMAP_GroundControlPoints\sample_test\target_projections" -s ".\COLMAP_GroundControlPoints\sample_test\colmap_sparse" -g ".\COLMAP_GroundControlPoints\sample_test\Ground_Truth.txt" -c "./path/to/parent/folder/colmap_exe" -a "./AlignCC_for_windows" -r 0.249 -d " "
```

### Notes
*All images in ./sample_test/imgs must be registered in the sparse model
