# TikTok live game - Tug of War

The project consists of a game developed using JavaScript that viewers can interact with by joining the blue or red team and buffing their team's strength to win the game.

## Installation

Clone the project:
- `git clone https://github.com/northoniserhardt/tiktok-live-game.git`

Navigate to the project directory:
- `cd tiktok-live-game`

Install dependencies:
- `npm install`

Copy the `.env.example` file to `.env`:
- `cp .env.example .env`

Start the development server:
- `npm start`

**Remember to insert the tiktok live id in .env**

Now just open in your browser: http://localhost:8000

## Gameplay Mechanics
Our game will feature 2 teams, red and blue, represented by 2 characters. Players will join these teams, and their likes will be converted into strength for their team every turn (1 second). The team with more strength will make our character pull the other toward a big drop into a small pool.

But don't worry; they are excellent swimmers. Upon winning, the character will celebrate with their respective grandstand.

Once connected to a live you must comment '#1' to join blue team or '#2' to join red team.

O projeto consiste em um jogo desenvolvido usando JavaScript onde os viewers podem interagir ingressando no time vermelho ou azul e concedendo força ao time para vencer.

## Instalação

Clone o projeto:

## Gameplay Mechanics
Nosso jogo contará com 2 times, o vermelho e o azul, representados por 2 personagens. Os jogadores entrarão nos times e seus likes serão convertidos em força para o seu time a cada turno (1 segundo), o time com mais força fará com que nosso personagem puxe um pouco o outro em direção a uma grande queda em uma pequena piscina.

Mas não se preocupe eles são excelentes nadadores, ao vencer o personagem comemorará juntamente com a sua torcida.

Uma vez conectado em uma live você precisa comentar '#1' para entrar no tiime azul ou '#2' para entrar no time vermelho.
