## 🧮 Theory

### GHZ State

$$|GHZ_N\rangle = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\bigl(|00\cdots0\rangle + |11\cdots1\rangle\bigr)$$

### Protocol (3-node case)

1. Nodes A, B, C share a GHZ state
2. Each picks phase $\phi_i \in \{0, \pi/2\}$
3. Each applies $P(\phi)|1\rangle = e^{i\phi}|1\rangle$
4. New state: $|\psi\rangle = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\bigl(|000\rangle + e^{i(\alpha+\beta+\gamma)}|111\rangle\bigr)$
5. All measure in Pauli-X basis → outcomes $a, b, c \in \{+1, -1\}$
6. Proceed only if $\alpha + \beta + \gamma \in \{0, \pi\}$
7. Product: $a \cdot b \cdot c = \cos(\alpha+\beta+\gamma) = \pm 1$
8. A and B exchange outcomes → infer $c = a \cdot b \cdot d$ where $d = \cos(\alpha+\beta+\gamma)$

### Security

Local outcomes are uniformly random → Eve sees only noise.  
Intercept-resend attack: QBER $= p_{\text{intercept}}/2$.  
Detection threshold: QBER $> 5\%$.

### Tittel et al. (2000) Detection Formula

$$P_{ijk} = \frac{1}{8}\bigl[1 + ijk\cos(\alpha+\beta+\gamma)\bigr], \quad i,j,k \in \{+1,-1\}$$

## ⚡ Quick Start (Local)

All interactions after warm-up are < 5 ms:
