## Getting started

```bash
npm install @carbon/ai-chat
```

```bash
yarn add @carbon/ai-chat
```

This will install the package that contains both the web component and React versions of the chat application.

## Carbon AI Chat components

You may make use of individual React and web components from `@carbon/ai-chat` with `@carbon/ai-chat-components`.

This is helpful if you are creating your our Carbon compliant chat widget, or if you want to use existing components when extending Carbon AI chat.

The available AI Chat components are viewable in our storybooks

## Peer dependency changes

This `@carbon/ai-chat` package uses peer dependencies to avoid bundling dependencies that you may already have installed or may want to control the version of.
