## About

**Yellow OS** is a web operating system written in:

- **Backend:** Not used yet (prepared as Bun application)
- **Frontend:** Svelte

## Features

### System

- **Desktop environment** - window manager with drag, resize and snap zones, taskbar with start menu, virtual desktops, app switcher, context menus, toast notifications, etc.
- **File system** - built on browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS) with file operations, drag & drop upload/download, trash, clipboard, file type associations and conflict resolution
- **UI** - Many reusable UI components

### Applications

- **App Player** - run your own custom apps inside the web OS
- **Calculator** - for your very own calculations
- **File Browser** - browse, manage and organize files and folders
- **Image Viewer** - view and edit images
- **Media Player** - play your favourite video and audio files
- **Text Editor** - edit your text files

### Games

- **Pong** - 2 player table tennis
- **Snake** - eat, grow and don't hit the wall
