This is the code for "Evolutionary Space Invaders - The Math of Intelligence (Week 9)" By Siraj Raval on Youtube

## Overview

This is the code for [this](https://youtu.be/rGWBo0JGf50) video on Youtube by Siraj Raval as part of The Math of Intelligence course. There are two versions of the game, a [python version](https://github.com/citiususc/citius-invaders/tree/master/python) built on top of the [SGE Game Engine](http://pythonhosted.org/sge-pygame/index.html) and a [HTML5 version](https://github.com/citiususc/citius-invaders/tree/master/js) made with [Phaser](http://phaser.io/). You can play the HTML5 version here: https://citiususc.github.io/citius-invaders It uses an evolutionary algorithm to make the AI invaders better

## Dependencies

* pygame
* sge

Install dependencies using [pip](https://pip.pypa.io/en/stable/).

## Usage

Run  `python invaders.py` to run the game in terminal
