# ecobin
## IOT based Waste Management System for Smart Cities 
1. put the `ecobin` folder in `var/www/html/`(for linux) or &nbsp; `C:\wamp\www\` or &nbsp;`C:\xampp\htdocs\` (for Windows) 
2. change the username(phpmyadmin) and password(1235) in `connection.php` with your credentials 
3. create a database named `ecobin` and import the `ecobin.sql` file

**_you are all set to go!!_**

Note: `sensor_data.php` is being used for receiving remote data 
user name: shubhajitdas121@gmail.com 
password: 1235

## Basic GIT commands:
**0. Pull from remote**:&nbsp; `git pull` 
 **1. Check status**: &nbsp;`git status` 
 **2. Add all unstaged Files**: &nbsp; `git add .` 
 **or 2. Add specific unstaged Files**:&nbsp; `git add sensor_data.php` 
 **3. Commit the Staged files (a message is mandatory)** : &nbsp; `git commit "your message here (e.g. sensor_data script added)"` 
 **4. Push the Staged Files (this will ask for authentication)**:&nbsp; `git push` 
 
## Using GIT for the first time: (optional)
**0. Create a remote, empty repository on Github:** &nbsp; Login into github, Create an empty repo and copy the url (clone/download)&nbsp; 
**1. Initialize the local repo**:&nbsp; Goto your project directory and type &nbsp; `git init` 
 **2. Connect to remote**:&nbsp; `git remote add origin https://github.com/shubhajitml/ecobin.git` 
 **3. Push your branch to Github:** &nbsp; `git push origin master`
