# Arkanoid Game

## Preparation

1. Do a Preflight check:
    1. Python3
    1. GIT
1. Clone this git
1. OSX & Linux: Run `sh install.sh` OR do the Manual Install:
    1. Create new VENV: `python3 -m venv env`
    1. Activate your VENV: `sh ./env/bin/activate`
    1. Install deps: `pip3 install -r requirements.txt`
1. Go to the working directory: `cd work`
1. Run the app: `python3 main.py`

## Phases Description:

To look for the additions, seek comments started with "!!!"

1. Open an empty window with PyGame (m)
1. Add Paddle, that could be controlled by the Player
1. Implement Ball and add it to the game scene
1. Adding Bricks
1. Add Win / Lose state
1. Add scoring and lives (m)
1. Bonuses
1. Sounds (m)
1. More bonuses
1. Messages
1. Add pixel explosions (and fireworks)
1. Add Title Screen

## What's next?

1. Add `mute` button
1. Add more levels
1. Add `gameover` screen
1. Add more powerups
