TruffleHog는 `--json` 대신 `--sarif`를 사용하여 [SARIF](https://docs.oasis-open.org/sarif/sarif/v2.1.0/sarif-v2.1.0.html) 형식으로 출력할 수도 있습니다. GitHub 코드 스캔은 SARIF를 기본적으로 지원하므로, 이를 업로드하면 풀 리퀘스트 diff 및 저장소의 Security 탭에 발견된 내용이 인라인으로 표시되며, 매 실행마다 동일한 항목을 다시 보고하는 대신 스캔 간에 발견된 항목을 신규/수정됨으로 추적합니다. 업로드 방법에 대해서는 아래의 [TruffleHog Github Action](#octocat-trufflehog-github-action) 섹션을 참조하세요. 다른 출력 형식과 달리, SARIF 결과는 단일 JSON 문서 스트림이 아닌 전체 문서를 요구하므로 전체 스캔 동안 메모리에 버퍼링되었다가 마지막에 기록됩니다. 일반적인 스캔에는 문제가 없지만, 매우 많은 수의 결과를 생성하는 스캔에서는 비례하여 더 많은 메모리를 사용하게 됩니다.

로컬 스캔 시 악성 git 설정으로부터 보호하기 위해(CVE-2025-41390 참고), TruffleHog는 스캔 전에 로컬 git 저장소를 임시 디렉터리로 복제합니다. 이는 [Git의 보안 모범 사례](https://git-scm.com/docs/git#\_security)를 따릅니다. (tmp 대신) 저장소를 복제할 사용자 지정 경로를 지정하려면 `--clone-path` 플래그를 사용할 수 있습니다. 로컬 복제 과정을 건너뛰고 저장소를 직접 스캔하려면(신뢰할 수 있는 repo에만 이 방법을 사용하세요) `--trust-local-git-config` 플래그를 사용할 수 있습니다.

`--since-commit` 플래그를 사용자들이 병합하는 기본 브랜치(예: "main")로 설정합니다. `--branch` 플래그를 PR의 브랜치 이름(예: "feature-1")으로 설정합니다. 사용하는 CI/CD 플랫폼에 따라 이 값은 동적으로 가져올 수 있습니다 (예: [Circle CI의 CIRCLE\_BRANCH](https://circleci.com/docs/variables/) 및 [Travis CI의 TRAVIS\_PULL\_REQUEST\_BRANCH](https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/environment-variables/)). 일반적인 TruffleHog 출력 외에도 `--object-discovery` 플래그는 새로운 `$HOME/.trufflehog` 디렉토리에 `valid\_hidden.txt`와 `invalid.txt` 두 개의 파일을 생성합니다. 이 파일들은 커밋 열거 과정에서 상태를 추적하는 데 사용되며, 사용자에게 모든 숨겨진 및 삭제된 커밋의 전체 목록(`valid\_hidden.txt`)을 제공합니다. 스캔 후 이러한 파일을 자동으로 제거하려면 `--delete-cached-data` 플래그를 추가하세요.

**참고**: 이 방법을 사용하여 저장소의 모든 유효한 커밋을 열거하는 데는 저장소 크기에 따라 20분에서 몇 시간이 소요됩니다. 열거에 걸리는 시간을 파악할 수 있도록 진행률 표시줄을 추가했습니다. 실제 시크릿 스캔은 매우 빠르게 실행됩니다.

## What is credential verification?

Allow verification of similar credentials across detectors
--[no-]filter-unverified Only output first unverified result per chunk per detector if there
are more than one results.
--filter-entropy=FILTER-ENTROPY

## Configuration
TruffleHog는 `--config` 플래그를 통해 제공되는 설정 파일에서 [커스텀 정규식 탐지기](#custom-regex-detector-alpha) 및 여러 소스 정의를 지원합니다.
정규식 탐지기는 모든 서브커맨드와 함께 사용할 수 있는 반면, 설정에 정의된 소스는 `multi-scan` 서브커맨드 전용입니다.

## S3
S3 소스는 IAM 사용자 외에도 스캔을 위해 IAM 역할 가정(assume)을 지원합니다. 이를 통해 사용자는 각 계정에 대한 하드코딩된 자격 증명에 의존하지 않고도 여러 AWS 계정을 더 쉽게 스캔할 수 있습니다.
TruffleHog가 초기 단계에서 사용하는 IAM 자격 증명은 가정할 각 IAM 역할의 [신뢰 정책(trust policy)](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/how-to-use-trust-policies-with-iam-roles/)에서 주체(principal)로서 `AssumeRole` 권한을 가지고 있어야 합니다.
로컬에 설정된 자격 증명이나 EC2 인스턴스의 경우 인스턴스 메타데이터를 사용하여 특정 버킷을 스캔하려면:

### 얕은 복제 (Shallow Cloning)

## 커스텀 정규식 검출기 (알파)
TruffleHog는 커스텀 정규식의 감지 및 검증을 지원합니다.
감지를 위해서는 최소 하나 이상의 **정규표현식(regular expression)**과 **키워드(keyword)**가 필요합니다.
**키워드**는 감지할 정규식 내부나 주변에 나타나는 고정된 리터럴 문자열 식별자입니다. 검증의 유연성을 극대화하기 위해, 정규식 매치 결과가 포함된 웹훅이 사용됩니다.
TruffleHog는 정규식 매치 결과가 포함된 JSON POST 요청을 구성된 웹훅 엔드포인트로 전송합니다. 엔드포인트가 `200 OK` 응답 상태 코드로 응답하면 시크릿이 검증된 것으로 간주됩니다. 네트워크/API 오류로 인해 검증에 실패하면 결과는 알 수 없음(unknown)으로 표시됩니다.
커스텀 검출기는 엔트로피, 전체 매치를 타겟으로 하는 정규식, 캡처된 시크릿을 타겟으로 하는 정규식, 그리고 다음을 대상으로 확인되는 제외 단어 목록과 같은 몇 가지 필터링 메커니즘을 지원합니다.

시크릿(캡처 그룹이 있는 경우 캡처된 그룹, 캡처 그룹이 없는 경우 전체 일치 항목)을 치환합니다. 사용자 정의 탐지기에 여러 개의 `regex`(이 예에서는 `hogID` 및 `hogToken`)가 설정된 경우, 필터가 각 정규 표현식에 적용된다는 점에 유의하세요. 이러한 필터를 사용하는 사용자 정의 탐지기의 예시는 [여기](examples/generic\_with\_filters.yml)에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
