# Alchemyst Hiring

Welcome! This repo is the index of hiring drives we've run at Alchemyst. Each folder below is a self-contained drive with role descriptions and take-home assignments.

**Baseline expectation across every drive:** exceptionally high agency, adaptability, and learnability.

## Drives

### [June 2026 — Full Stack AI](./June-2026_FullStackAI/)
A systems-focused assignment for Full Stack AI Engineers. Build an **Agent Console** — a Next.js application that connects to a provided mock AI agent backend over WebSockets, renders streaming responses with mid-stream tool call interruptions, displays a live agent trace timeline, and survives the backend's chaos mode without crashing or losing state. Includes a Dockerised agent-server with a documented WebSocket protocol.

> It's okay if you don't finish the entire assignment. We want to see the effort you put in. Skills are transferable; the go-getter attitude isn't.
