# 설치 가이드

1. 코드 내려받기

git clone https://github.com/kotlin-graphics/glm

깃허브에서 프로젝트 코드 전체를 내 컴퓨터로 내려받습니다.

cd glm

방금 내려받은 프로젝트 폴더 안으로 이동합니다.

2. Gradle (Java/Kotlin)

보통 추천

사전 준비물

Git GitHub에서 프로젝트 코드를 내려받으려면 필요합니다.
JDK (Java) Java/Kotlin 프로젝트를 빌드/실행하려면 필요합니다.
Gradle 레포에 포함된 gradlew(Gradle Wrapper)를 쓰면 Gradle을 따로 설치할 필요가 없습니다.

./gradlew build

Gradle로 빌드를 진행합니다.

✅ BUILD SUCCESSFUL 메시지가 뜨면 성공입니다. build/ 폴더에 결과물이 생성됩니다.

This is the Kotlin port of [OpenGL Mathematics](http://glm.g-truc.net/) (*GLM*), written by [g-truc](https://github.com/Groovounet) ([repository](https://github.com/g-truc/glm)), a header only C++ mathematics library for graphics software based on the [OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL) specifications](https://www.opengl.org/registry/doc/GLSLangSpec.4.50.diff.pdf).

*GLM* provides classes and functions designed and implemented with the same naming conventions and functionality than *GLSL* so that anyone who knows *GLSL*, can use *GLM* as well in Kotlin and Java.

This project isn't limited to *GLSL* features. An extension system, based on the *GLSL* extension conventions, provides extended capabilities: matrix transformations, quaternions, data packing, random numbers, noise, etc...

This library works perfectly with *[OpenGL](https://www.opengl.org)* but it also ensures interoperability with other third party libraries and SDK. It is a good candidate for software rendering (raytracing / rasterisation), image processing, physic simulations and any development context that requires a simple and convenient mathematics library.

*GLM* is written entirely in Kotlin, but can be also used from Java. It is a platform independent library with no dependences other than [kotlin-unsigned](https://github.com/elect86/kotlin-unsigned) for unsigned support and [kotlin-test](https://github.com/kotlintest/kotlintest) for testing.
