Welcome to the OCR Bot! This bot helps you extract text from images using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology.

## Features

- Extract text from images in any language.
- Easy to use commands to interact with the bot.

## Setup

### Prerequisites

- Python 3.10+
- Telegram Bot API token
- Google Cloud API key for generative AI

### Installation

1. Clone the repository:
   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/abirxdhack/OCRBOT.git
   cd OCRBOT
   ```

2. Install the required dependencies:
   ```bash
   pip install -r requirements.txt
   ```

3. Create a `config.py` file in the project directory and add your API credentials:
   ```python
   # config.py
   API_ID = "your_api_id"
   API_HASH = "your_api_hash"
   BOT_TOKEN = "your_bot_token"
   GOOGLE_API_KEY = "your_google_api_key"
   MODEL_NAME = "your_model_name"
   COMMAND_PREFIX = "/.|"  # Example: "/.|" for both / and . prefixes
   ```

### Usage

1. Start the bot:
   ```bash
   python ocr_bot.py
   ```

2. Interact with the bot on Telegram:
   - Send `/start` to get a welcome message and usage instructions.
   - Reply to any image with `/ocr` or `.ocr` to extract text from the image.

### Example

1. Send `/start` to the bot to receive a welcome message:
   ```
   **Welcome to the OCR Bot!**

I can help you extract text from images.

To use this bot, simply reply to a photo with the command `/ocr` or `.ocr`.
   I will automatically extract all the text from the image without needing any additional prompts.

**Example usage:**
   `/ocr` - Extracts all text from the image.
   ```

2. Reply to an image with `/ocr` or `.ocr` to extract text:
   ```
   **Extracting All Text From Image...**
   ```

After processing, the bot replies with the extracted text:
   ```
   **Here Is Your Extracted Text!**

[Extracted text]
   ```

### Error Handling

If something goes wrong during the OCR processing, the bot will reply with an error message:
```
**Sorry, something went wrong with the OCR processing ❌**
```

### Logging

The bot logs errors and important events. You can check the logs for more details on any issues that occur during processing.
