## 🇧🇷  JSOrm - Framework 🇧🇷

JSOrm is a framework for manipulating relational objects that can be provided by a data base connection (MSSQL for now) and export / import to a JSON format.

## 🐎 Horse compatible

JSOrm is compatible with [`Horse`](https://github.com/HashLoad/horse) framework from [`HashLoad`](https://github.com/HashLoad), but do not confuse, this is not a Middleware.

## ⚙️ Installation

Installation is done using the [`boss install`](https://github.com/HashLoad/boss) command:

$ boss install https://github.com/MurilloLazzaretti/jsorm.git

## ⚡️ First step

You need to start JSOrm providing "ini file name" and "section name" that contains informations about your database connection:
```delphi
uses JSOrm.Core;

begin  
  TJSOrm.Start('Connection.ini', 'CONNECTION');    
end;

```
## 📐 IniFile template

Note: The ini file needs to be under your application`s path or in Windows Directory (Ex: "C:\Windows\iniFile.ini")

SERVERNAME= Your database server (Ex: "localhost\SQLEXPRESS")
DATABASENAME= Your database name
USERNAME= Database username
PASSWORD= Database password

## ⚡️ Don`t forget

When you will terminate your application, dont`t forget to stop JSOrm

## 🧬  Implementing your Entity`s

All of your entity`s need to inherits from TJSOrmEntity and your properties decorated by TEntityFieldAttributes.

## 🔥 TEntityFieldAttributes

Parameters are the name of your field in your database and the type of it.

## ⚠️ Warning

Note that in properties type of tcObject or tcObjectList, you don`t need to inform the entity field name because this is a virtual relationship

## 🌱 Implementing your DAO layer`s

The DAO`s layer is responsable to connect to your database, execute your SQL commands and export the dataset to an object entity or an object list entity.
All DAO`s classes needs to inherits from TJSOrmDao<"TJSOrmEntity"> where (<"TJSOrmEntity">) is the entity that you will manipulate.
JSOrm framwework will not produces your SQL commands, this need to be implemented by your self.

📚 Example of a DAO class:

 TDaoPessoa = class(TJSOrmDao<TPessoa>)

 function FindById(const pID : string): TDaoPessoa;

## ✏ Tips 
To have a code easy to write, in all methods of the DAO class return itself. This will make things easier

## 🌐  Consuming your DAO layer

🚲  Working with only one object

  Dao := TDaoPessoa.Create;
  try
    Pessoa := Dao.FindById('id of the pessoa entity in your data base').AsObject;

      Pessoa.Free;
    end

      raise Exception.Create('Id not found');
  finally
    Dao.Free;
  end;
end;
```

🚌  Working with an object list

 Dao : TDaoPessoa;
 Pessoas : TJSOrmEntityList<TPessoa>;
 JSON : TJSONArray;

 Dao := TDaoPessoa.Create;

 Pessoas.Free;

## ✏ Tips 
When you call the method AsObject in your DAO class, the method will return the first line of the Query as an object of the configured entity. When you call the method AsObjectList, the methos will return an object list with all the lines in your Query. If the query is empty, the AsObject method will return nil, for the method AsObjectList, will return an object list with no items.

## 👽 Converting JSON object to your entity

```delphi
var
 Pessoa : TPessoa;
 JSON : TJSONObject;
begin
 JSON := 'YOUR JSON OBJECT';
 try
 Pessoa := TPessoa.New<TPessoa>(JSON);
 if Assigned(Pessoa) then
 begin
 // Do what ever you want with your entity, insert, update, delete, etc....
 end
 else
 raise Exception.Create('Fail to load your JSON object in TPessoa');
 finally
 JSON.Free;
 end;
end;
```
## ✏ Tips 
If your entity has a complex relationship and your JSON doesn`t have this informations, the New method will return an instantiated object with all properties assigned, even that properties is an object list.
