# ShopEnhancement (STS2 Mod)

This project is a mod for *Slay the Spire 2*, designed to enhance the strategic depth of shops and reward systems, providing more choices and fun while maintaining game balance.

- **Added Service-Slot Split in Shop**:
  - Introduced a new special service in the removal slot: **Random Teammate Card Gift Service**, alongside Enchant Service.
  - Special service type is rolled once on shop entry and remains fixed for that shop.
  - Random teammate target is locked on shop entry and shown in the hover tip before purchase.
- **Enchant Service Improvements**:
  - Added configurable ranges for enchant amount and enchantable card count.

- **Multiplayer Sync Fix**:
  - Fixed an issue where receiving `SyncConfigMessage` could throw `no message handlers are registered for that type`.
  - Message handlers are now registered earlier during character-select/network lifecycle to prevent remote config sync errors.

  - Added a Shop Config entry in the main menu so players can tune shop-enhancement values in UI.
  - Supports preset save/load/switch to quickly apply different balance setups.

  - In multiplayer, you can purchase cards from the shop and gift them to other players.
  - Added a "Gift Mode" button in the shop interface. Toggle it to switch purchase mode.
  - Supports selecting a target player for the gift.

  - Optimized the visuals of Sell Mode and Gift Mode buttons for better clarity.
  - Gift target now displays both character name and player name (e.g., Steam name).

### v0.2
- **Added Sell Mode**: You can now sell unwanted relics and potions to the merchant.
- **Balance Adjustments**:
  - Relic sell price ratio reduced from 40% to 35%, Potion from 50% to 25%.
  - Significantly increased the base sell price of Boss Relics (750 Gold base), making selling them a strategic choice.
  - Slightly reduced Event Relic sell price.

## Features (Default Configuration)

This mod includes the following core functional adjustments:

### 1. Card Removal Optimization
- **Flexible Cost**: Initial removal cost adjusted to **50 Gold** (Vanilla is 75), increasing by 25 Gold each time. Encourages players to streamline their deck early.
- **Multiple Removals**: You can remove up to **3 cards** per shop visit (with increasing costs).

### 2. Shop Refresh Mechanism
- **Refresh Goods**: Spend **40 Gold** to refresh all cards, relics, and potions in the shop.
- **Limit**: Refresh is limited to **3 times** per shop to prevent excessive abuse.

### 3. Economic Compensation Mechanism
- **No Shopping Bonus**: If you leave the shop without purchasing any items, you will receive **15 Gold** as travel expenses.
- **Skip Card Reward**: After winning a battle, if you choose to skip the card reward, you will receive **15 Gold**.

### 4. Cross-Class Cards
- **More Diverse Builds**: Cards in the shop have a **20%** chance to be replaced by cards from other classes, bringing unexpected surprises and new ideas to your build.

### 5. Full Content Unlock
- **One-Click Unlock**: Automatically unlocks all cards, relics, potions, and **all characters** (by revealing all epochs) when entering the main menu. No need for tedious grinding, experience all game content directly.

### 6. Sell Mode
- **Recycle Resources**: Click the "Enable Sell Mode" button in the shop interface, then **Right-Click** on any Relic or Potion to sell it.
- **Pricing**:
    - **Relics**: Sells for **35%** of the merchant price. Special relics (Boss/Starter/Event) have fixed base prices.
        - *Designer Note: Boss relics are now quite valuable, while event relics fetch less.*
    - **Potions**: Sells for **25%** of the merchant price.
        - *Designer Note: Potions are consumables and shouldn't be a primary income source.*
    - Minimum sell price guaranteed (30 Gold for Relics, 15 Gold for Potions).
### 7. Gift Mode (Multiplayer Only)
- **Share the Wealth**: In multiplayer games, you can buy cards as gifts for other players.
- **Easy Operation**:
    - Click "Gift Mode" in the shop to enable.
    - Click the target button to cycle through available players.
    - Buy a card as usual, and it will be sent to the selected player's deck!
- **Visual Feedback**: The recipient will see a notification and the card will fly into their deck.

### 8. Service Slot (Removal / Enchant / Random Teammate Gift)
- **Service Roll Rule**:
    - Starting from the **4th** shop visit, the service slot has a **30%** chance to become a special service.
    - The special service is either Enchant or Random Teammate Gift, fixed for the current shop.
- **Enchant Defaults**:
    - Base enchant cost **105**, enchant amount range **1~2**, enchantable card count range **1~2**.
- **Random Teammate Gift Defaults**:
    - Gift card count range **1~1** (default sends 1 deck card per purchase).
    - Cost = base **85** + **55** per extra card.

## Build & Install

Execute in the project root directory:

```powershell
dotnet publish -c Release
```

After a successful build, Mod files will be automatically copied to the game's `mods` folder:
- `ShopEnhancement.dll`
- `ShopEnhancement.pck` (if resources exist)
- `mod_manifest.json`

## Direct Installation

See releases on the right.

Place the compiled `ShopEnhancement.pck` & `ShopEnhancement.dll` into the game's `mods` directory.

**Note:** You also need to install the dependency [BaseLib-StS2](https://github.com/Alchyr/BaseLib-StS2).
Download `BaseLib.dll` and `BaseLib.pck` from its releases and place them in the `mods` directory as well.

## Directory Structure

- `ShopEnhancement/`: Mod main logic and patch code
- `ShopEnhancementConfig.cs`: Core numerical configuration file
- `mod_manifest.json`: Mod metadata

## Notes

- The mod injects logic via Harmony; compatibility depends on the game version.
- If export fails or the game prompts that it is not loaded, prioritize checking if the game directory `mods` contains `ShopEnhancement.dll` and `mod_manifest.json`.
