# Guardian - AI-Powered Facebook Content Moderator

## Overview
A Chrome extension that leverages AI technology to help make Facebook a safer space by automatically detecting and managing harmful content in comments. Powered by OpenAI's API, the extension intelligently flags hate speech, violent content, and user-defined keywords, providing options for both automatic and manual blocking of problematic users.

## Installation
1. Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store (Add store link when published)
2. Click on "Add to Chrome"
3. Accept the permissions when prompted
4. The extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar

## How to Use
1. **Setup**
   - Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar
   - Configure your preferred settings (automatic/manual blocking)
   - Add any custom keywords you want to monitor

2. **While Browsing Facebook**
   - The extension automatically scans comments as you browse
   - Flagged comments will be highlighted
   - Choose to block users manually or let the extension handle it automatically based on your settings

## Privacy
- All content scanning happens locally in your browser
- OpenAI API calls are made securely and comply with data protection standards
- No user data is stored or shared with third parties
- Your blocking preferences are stored locally

## Technical Requirements
- Google Chrome browser (version 88 or higher)
- Active Facebook account
- Internet connection
- OpenAI API key (required for AI features)
